Scholarship Opportunity
Are you a 16- to 25-year-old Cass County resident who would benefit from hands-on training to become our next generation of government leadership? If so, we have a tremendous opportunity for you! Cass County GOP is sponsoring one student for the National Patriot Academy Leadership Congress in Austin, Tex., this summer!
About Patriot Academy:
Patriot Academy has a bold mission: to equip and educate a generation of citizen leaders to champion the cause of freedom and truth in every sector of society, as we help restore our Constitutional Republic and the Biblical principles that cause a Nation to thrive.
About National Leadership Congress:
Focusing on leadership training combined with the most realistic, simulated legislative sessions in America, students leave with the principles, strategies, and skills to lead their generation and our nation with character and courage.
Scholarship details:
One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. The scholarship is to help cover tuition fees, travel expenses, and lodging.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a resident of Cass County, Neb.
- Applicant must be between the ages of 16- and 25-years-old
- Applicant must be able to attend the National Leadership Congress July 28 – August 3, 2024, in Austin, Tex.
How to apply:
Applicants must attend a Cass County GOP meeting on either January 18 or February 15, 2024. Meetings are held from 7-9 PM at the Cass County Extension Office (8400 144th Street, Weeping Water, Neb.).
- Applicants will be put on the meeting agenda for the respective date and will be given time to make their case to receive the scholarship. Applicants will need to be open for questions after their presentation.
